FP&A Accountant (Private Equity)

Working with a very well-capitalised Private Equity Group, which is backed by one of Irelands leading businessmen. The FP&A Accountant role is a newly created role and you will be working directly with CFO. A note from the CFO - The role will be to Work in tandem with me, effectively shadowing and providing support in strategic financial decision-making.To succeed in this role you will need a self-starter with a proven ability to take ownership of tasks and to be CFA or ACA qualified, with corporate finance experience. Other responsibilities include: CFO Partnership:Collaborate closely with our CFO, shadowing and providing crucial support in strategic financial decision-making. Transactional Diligence: Engage in various transaction types, spanning the entire due diligence spectrum, and facilitate the seamless integration of new businesses. Financial Interpretation: Extract, interpret, and translate financial results to enhance commercial outcomes, playing a significant role in advising decision-makers based on financial data. 4. Strategic Acquisitions: Act as a key stakeholder in the review and integration of potential acquisitions, contributing your financial expertise to shape our growth strategy. 5. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Oversee and execute profitability assessments, KPI reporting, and other financial analytics to inform group strategies. 6. Ad hoc Assignments: Undertake special projects as needed to address the evolving needs of the company. Requirements: CFA or ACA qualified. Exemplary interpersonal skills coupled with superior written and verbal communication competencies. A strategic thinker with the ability to think pragmatically and pivot when necessary. Demonstrable capability to influence and collaborate with senior management across various functions and regions. A self-starter with a proven ability to take ownership of tasks, exhibit initiative, and question decisions from the CFO and C-Suite when necessary to ensure the best outcomes for the company. Remuneration: A strong base salary depending on experience, Bonus, & Pension.
