Accounts Administrator

Accounts Assistant Opportunity (Maternity cover with potential for permanent role within the Finance team) Cocoon Childcare operate a number of childcare facilities throughout Dublin and the Greater Dublin Area. Working as part of the Finance Team and being part of the wider Cocoon team, you will be exposed to all aspects of running a medium sized business. This role will suit an individual who enjoys working in a dynamic and challenging setting. We are currently seeking the right candidate to join our team for a period of maternity cover with the potential for a permanent role within our Finance team which would subsequently incorporate part of the responsibilities outlined below and/or alternate responsibilities as part of the team. Key Tasks & Responsibilities to include Bookings & Fees Recording and collection of bookings, fees and Government funding Posting and reconciliation of fees billed and/or Government funding onto accounts system Dealing with parents and/or colleagues on related queries including collection of outstanding fees Assisting in recording of and reconciliation of booking deposits and refunds of same Create and/or adopt and implement internal policies and procedures as required Assist with implementation of new childcare administration and management system General office administration duties Desired Skills and Experience Commercially minded individual with relevant experience in accounting Strong communication skills,flexible and customer focussed Ability to cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and parents Good organisational skills and ability to multi task Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Sage Accounts is preferable Salary: Commensurate with experience Skills: accounts systems team work collaboration
