Duties and Responsibilities: Provide personalized coordinated care, and support for patients and families.Treat people with dignity, compassion, and respect.Perform housekeeping tasks and cleaning functions in any assigned area, using proper techniques to maintain the areas in an orderly and sanitary condition and to rule out possibilities of cross-infection caused by inadequate housekeeping.Use housekeeping and cleaning supplies in an appropriate manner and be fully responsible for the use, care, and cleaning of equipment necessary for the assigned work area.Assure conformance to safety and infection control standards, monitor work in progress of subordinate personnel, and inform the shift Supervisor of deviations or problems encountered.Inspect the physical conditions of the assigned area and initiate action for necessary repairs.Perform other miscellaneous related duties as requested.QUALIFICATIONS:Education qualification not required.Must be able to communicate (read and write) in English / Arabic Language.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:Freshers are acceptable.With or without experience related to housekeeping job provided that training will be conducted during the probationary months (1st three months after hired date).SPECIALIZED SKILLS:Must be able to communicate in English.A thorough knowledge of the use, care, and cleaning of equipment, decontaminating and disinfecting supplies, procedures and practices, and infection control procedures is mandatory.COMPETENCE:Must know the Housekeeping Policy and Procedures and the Infection Control and MOH standards in cleaning.REQUIRED ATTITUDE TO PERFORM THE JOB:Proper, effective, and compassionate communication.Flexible - shows a supportive attitude toward any changes to work flow for the department.Respectful - shows respect to the HOD, supervisors, other staff working in the hospital, and for the patients and visitors.Responsible - responsibly doing the assigned work and be able to finish any task given.
