Job title: Lead, Technical Training M/FCompany: SPIE Global Services EnergyJob description: We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Qatar LLC for a Lead, Technical Training. The role is primarily responsible for the facilitation of staff competence development within the technical disciplines. The incumbent will lead the training team and collaborate with line management to design, develop, and monitor the implementation of training and development interventions aligned with competency gaps and business requirements. The incumbent will collaborate with educational institutions to track students' progress and provide necessary support.Primary Accountabilities:Lead the technical competency assessments process as well as serve as a process verifier.Guide the business in the identification of training needs in accordance with competence gaps and business requirements.Collaborate with the business and guide the Technical Training team regarding employee development and growth.Design, develop, and deliver training material, whenever required.Conduct benchmarks and studies to further improve employee development processes and mechanisms.Monitor and assess the effectiveness and success of training programs within the technical functions.Maintain effective relationships and continuous liaison with key stakeholders, including academic institutions regarding the development of nationals.Desired Candidate Profile:Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline preferred, graduated from a recognized university.Certified Trainer.CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent professional certificate will be advantageous.At least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, or Heavy Manufacturing Industry.Good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a good level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.SPIE Oil & Gas Services is committed to promoting diversity.
