Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Director of Sales & Marketing to lead our multi-brand hotel portfolio across six properties in The Netherlands. This role is a key leadership position within the HR Group, responsible for driving sales growth, marketing strategies, and brand awareness across diverse hotel brands. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing multi-property sales and marketing functions. As the Regional Director, you will collaborate closely with hotel general managers, revenue management teams, and corporate stakeholders to ensure each property meets its financial goals while delivering an exceptional guest experience.HR Group in The Netherlands is presented by six hotels:Mövenpick Amsterdam City Center;Mövenpick The Hague;Ramada Amsterdam Airport Schiphol;Amedia Amsterdam Airport;Ibis Styles Rotterdam Ahoy;NinetyNine Hotel Amsterdam Airport.The main responsibilities include:The full sales and marketing strategy for 6 HR Group properties in the Netherlands (Amsterdam, Schiphol Region, The Hague as well as Rotterdam);Building Sales & Marketing budget and Hotel Business Plan;Ensuring Sales & Marketing strategy and maximum revenue performance;Developing and monitoring yield and revenue strategies in close cooperation with Regional Director of Revenue;Building on the ijVENUES partnership together with Amsterdam DOS;Maintaining close contact with key accounts (MICE, Corporate and Leisure);Co-operating with the International Commercial Teams and Brand Partners;Developing and executing local and regional marketing activities including communication & PR;Identifying cross-selling opportunities for sister properties;Supporting recruitment, hiring and development of highly qualified sales personnel in coordination with Human Resources;Conducting annual performance reviews with all team members;Leading and developing a dynamic team of approximately 15 team members;Setting objectives and targets for sales team, group, and events team.The perfect candidate has:Great commercial leadership skills in different market segments;Many years of experience in Conference and Events;A bachelor education in Hotel Management;Speaks and writes fluently Dutch and English;Real People Orientated management skills;Conceptual thinking and ability to analyse numerical and verbal information; and being able to put them into a broader context;Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, training, and coaching skills;Customer focused, intuitive handling of customer expectations while ensuring maximum revenue potential in line with Area guidelines and procedures.We offer:A contract of 38 hours per week;25 vacation days;Company car, laptop and mobile phone;Clothing allowance, laundry service and meals;Extra day off during your birthday month;A travel allowance up to €200 per month, on the basis of the actual number of kilometres;A night-shift allowance of 20% and a Sunday allowance of 5%;Pension contributions with the Horeca & Catering pension fund;National and international opportunities for growth;Discounts on rooms, food and drink at Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, Accor & HR-Group hotels;Enjoy an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast in the hotel where you work at with feel like a guest Mövenpick Experience;Recruitment bonus for a new colleague;50% F&B discount at various hotels in Amsterdam;Various staff outings.This is the right time to say yesYou see it as a challenge to put a smile on the face of all guests visiting our hotel?
