Now looking for an experienced engineer with a background in developing large-scale data platforms to lead on building a new platform for global trading operations.You will join the Delta One team in a hands-on role, where your work on real-time data capture and processing will directly influence trading strategies for a variety of products. Your primary focus will be meeting the data needs of traders and researchers; to do this your work will involve:develop software for live capturing of data from external and internal systems to build a data lakebuild derived datasets from this data lake, batch processing to generate a history and using stream processing for real-time data feedsdesign data systems which automate recovery processes with very little human involvement in case of interruptions or failuresThis role is pivotal in enhancing alpha research and trading capabilities at the firm and would suit a confident self-starter keen to apply their senior engineering expertise to complex challenges.
