Position Overview: The Divisional Manager will lead sustainability reporting, align with industry best practices, and oversee climate change initiatives. Drive data-driven strategies to meet sustainability targets and ensure high-quality service delivery. Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead global sustainability reporting and ESG initiatives
2. Develop cutting-edge climate risk and mitigation strategies
3. Guide clients towards net-zero emissions and biodiversity conservation
4. Drive innovation in sustainability best practices and reporting frameworks
5. Produce comprehensive sustainability reports (TNFD, ISSB, GRI, SASB)
6. Improve client scores on key investor questionnaires (CDP, DJSI)
7. Conduct sustainability training and workshops for clients and internal teams
8. Advise on sustainable procurement and supply chain management
9. Assist clients in setting and achieving ambitious sustainability goals
10. Oversee the development of Modern Slavery Statements and strategies
11. Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics and KPIs
12. Lead and mentor a global team of sustainability and climate change professionals

1. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
2. Knowledge of Environmental, Mining, and Water legislation
3. Proficiency in project management and financial principles
4. Deep understanding of responsible investment and sustainability trends
5. Knowledge of ESG rating agencies, frameworks, and databases
6. Expert in sustainability data and calculation methodologies
7. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
8. Ability to build credibility with senior executives
9. Self-motivated with strong business acumen
10. Flair for transforming data into compelling reports and infographics
11. Proficiency in GHG accounting, including GHG Protocol and Carbon Reporting
12. Expertise in Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG Accounting and Reporting

1. Postgraduate degree in Financial Communications, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability or similar

1. 10+ years in sustainability consulting
2. 5+ years leading teams in a management role
3. Proven track record with sustainability reporting frameworks
4. Experience in carbon management and strategy
5. Developing carbon reduction strategies, ideally within the resources sectors
6. Background in copywriting or editing
