ICT Contract & Commercial Officer

Our client is seeking an ICT Contract & Commercial Officer to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a day rate contract, part-time opportunity that is based in the SE of Melbourne where you will be required to work in a hybrid or fully remote setup (with occasional attendance required for meetings; as such, you must reside in Melbourne). Key experience and responsibilities include:
- Contract Renewals: Engage with stakeholders and vendors to facilitate contract renewals, including reviewing terms, coordinating with legal and procurement teams, and managing the contract cycle.
- Database Management: Maintain and update contract databases to ensure accuracy and easy accessibility.
- ICT Contracts: Experience with ICT contracts is highly desirable.
- Contract Review: Assist in reviewing contracts alongside the commercial team, if prior experience allows.
- Contract Compliance: Review Terms of Business (TOB) within contracts, raise relevant questions, and seek guidance when needed.
- Stakeholder Communication: Monitor contract end dates and consult with stakeholders to determine next steps for expiring agreements.
- Experience working with project teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and document procurement requirements.
- Strong communication, presentation, planning, and organisational skills.
