This is a prestigious role as Chief Perfusionist for a soon to be opened Cardiothoracic service at a private Cork hospital. The candidate will be part of Ireland's top private hospital network delivering healthcare specialties including cardiology, oncology, and emergency services. This is a pivotal role responsible for Perfusion Services, including clinical, operational, strategic planning, and fiscal activities. The successful candidate will oversee the development and coordination of Perfusion Services within the expanded Cardiothoracic Surgical Program.

• The ideal candidate will be accredited and registered by the College of Clinical Perfusion Scientists of Great Britain and Ireland as a practising Clinical Perfusionist.
• They must have the clinical and administrative capacity to discharge the functions of the role.
• At least 5 years' experience as a Clinical Perfusionist is required.
• A strong knowledge of cardiopulmonary bypass techniques, equipment, and procedures is necessary.
• The role has a significant on-call element, so the candidate must be available for this.
• Previous experience in a Senior or Deputy Chief Perfusionist role is desirable.
• Qualifications or a completed course in a Management related discipline are desirable.
• An MSc in a related Healthcare area is desirable.
