About the Department:The Marketing and Public Relations Department within BYD Europe is responsible for developing and implementing tailored marketing and PR strategies specific to the European region and creating comprehensive plans that resonate with the European target audience. Our team works collaboratively to optimize brand visibility, increase market share, and drive business growth within the European market.As Senior PR Manager, you will report directly to the Marketing & Public Relations Department Director and Manager. The Senior PR Manager is responsible for building the brand's internal communication for the BYD Site in the Netherlands, initiating activities, closely observing and monitoring opinions, building solid relationships with various stakeholders, and collaborating closely with BYD HQ in China and the BYD PR team in Europe.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for the corporate development, planning, and management of internal communication for the BYD Manufacturing Site within BYD Europe.In charge of the process control and effectiveness of the communication plan, in line with BYD HQ in China, the European Marketing, and the PR Team in the Netherlands.Create and maintain a favorable public image for BYD Management by communicating programs, accomplishments, or points of view.Establish and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders within the whole BYD organization.Ensure that projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that business needs are being met.Evaluate and summarize the effect of PR campaigns in cooperation with the local PR team in the Netherlands.Actively engage and collaborate on any European event or activity as needed.According to the brand plan, develop relevant PR communication programs and monitor and optimize the implementation of the landing.Monitor public opinion, conduct early warning of crisis public relations, and respond to and solve the crisis in a timely and effective manner when an urgent public relations crisis occurs.Internal communication with BYD HQ, BYD EU, and BYD Hungary.Communication plan together with the Marketing Manager in the Netherlands.Select NGOs to work with and implement public welfare projects to promote good relations with the residents and other stakeholders.Initiate factory tours for stakeholders, media, and representatives, giving corporate speeches.Be a brand ambassador and work always with the customer in mind.Key Results:Commercial and funnel management metrics.Brand Awareness & Positioning.Stakeholder Satisfaction.Customer engagement level.Media publicity level.Your Profile:University Degree in Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Sales, or commercial disciplines.Solid experience in the automotive industry or branded public relations field.10+ years of experience in roles related to PR & communication management in the automotive business.Excellent digital tools knowledge.Customer-oriented mindset.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills.Resilient and open-minded.Results-oriented.
