What You Will Be Working On As part of our dynamic Communications and Marketing team, you’ll engage with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring our City’s values and aspirations are communicated effectively. In this role you will:

• Lead and deliver creative communication campaigns that engage and inspire.
• Provide expert advice on communication strategies to support the City's vision and values.
• Collaborate with teams to develop tailored communication plans that ensure key messages are aligned with organisational goals.
• Manage digital platforms and communication channels to improve access to information and engagement.
• Deliver innovative communication solutions that support the City’s goals and enhance accountability.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
• Has experience in a specialist communications role, managing media, publications, and engagement campaigns.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment, using your problem-solving skills to adapt and deliver high-quality communication solutions.
• Possesses a proactive and creative approach to managing communication activities, with a passion for making a positive impact.
