Senior Specialist Merchandising Projects EM
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Snr Specialist Merch Project to join our business team. This pivotal role will focus on the seamless implementation and rollout of various technology tools across our organization. As the Snr Specialist Merch Project, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of technology projects, from initial planning and requirements gathering to execution, training, and post-implementation support. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a proven track record of successfully implementing tech solutions in a business environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Business, Tech & IT & other business stakeholders, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. A key aspect of this role is effective communication and stakeholder management. You will serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and addressing any issues that arise. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports, to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:- Support the overall management of project deliverables under one umbrella.
- Help in the creation and alignment of regular project status updates.
- Set up tracking systems for project activities.
- Activity and Deliverable Tracking
- Ensure that defined business activities and deliverables are tracked and reported accurately.
- Monitor the progress of business deliverables to ensure completion.
- Resource Coordination
- Assist in ensuring the availability of business resources during all project phases.
- Coordinate with teams to confirm resource allocation and scheduling.
- Help ensure that identified business risks are transparent, with tracking in place and progress reported.
- Assist in reporting on project risks, defining priorities, and analyzing business impact.
- Management Reviews
- Assist in managing formal management reviews.
- Prepare documentation and materials for management review meetings.
- Support the escalation process for business and tech teams.
- Facilitate communication between teams to resolve escalated issues.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Migration
- Assist in the formalization of UAT test cases.
- Work towards the cutover strategy and migration of business activities.
- Support the execution of UAT and migration plans.
- Training
- Design and deliver training programs for end users on new tools.
- Create user guides, training materials, and conduct hands-on training sessions to ensure effective tool adoption.

- Advanced user of Confluence, Jira, MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- University degree in Project Management, Business administration or equivalent professional experience
- Retail or Merchandising Experience: 2 - 4 years.
- Project implementation experience is an advantage.
