We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Cash & Bank Accountant to manage the cash activities for FAMCO-Saudi.The role will interact with the cashiers based in all our branches across the FAMCO-Saudi network as well as the HQ management team and FAMCO UAE. The individual will need to ensure they are up to date with all company policies & procedures and ensure compliance.Job Responsibilities/ Key Accountabilities:Leading the process of strengthening the cash & bank controls and policies, aligning them with FAMCO-UAE.Weekly reporting to the Finance Manager, Head of Financial Reporting and FAMCO-UAE of the cash balances for KSA.Centrally managing via reports and controls from the branch cashiers, the petty cash balances for each branch.Ensuring the weekly reconciliation of all transactions made in the KSA bank accounts and investigating any variances.Managing the branch cashiers and being the group's key contact for all related cash queries.QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:2-3 years' experience in a related role, training to be an Accountant with a B.Com or Bachelors in finance/accounting or related field. Able to communicate effectively with all groups of people, from the customer to the sales managers.ABOUT YOU:The Cash and Bank Accountant is a key position which will require significant cash flow management skill and understanding. You will be studying for your accountancy qualification with good finance experience. Excellent communications skills - you will be expected to communicate clearly, effectively, assertively and professionally with the local management team and HQ management team.Understanding of financial accounting rules.Proven experience in setting up controls and processes.Experience of relationship building.The ability to provide innovative thinking on key business issues.The ability to deliver under pressure; high self-motivation.Must have a good command of English and Arabic.Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.About The Company:Established in the 1930's, the Al-Futtaim Group initially operated as a trading enterprise.
