Job Title: Machine Learning Junior Engineer (Intern)

We are seeking a motivated Machine Learning Junior Engineer (Intern) to join our team and contribute to our innovative projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Explore, develop, customize, test, qualify, and refine our AI and GeoAI-based models using real-world local field data.
Investigate open-source AI algorithms and enhance our proprietary AI algorithms to improve model accuracy and reliability.
Develop working prototypes of algorithms, evaluate them, and compare metrics using our real-world datasets.
Provide design input specifications, requirements, and guidance to software engineers for algorithm implementation.
Knowledge and Skills:
Deep understanding of statistics and experience with machine learning algorithms.
Strong programming skills in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and/or other ML languages and frameworks.
Experience working with open-source machine learning and computer vision libraries.
Eligibility Requirements:
This is a government-funded internship, and eligible interns must meet the following requirements:
Post-secondary graduates.
Between the ages of 15-30 (inclusive) at the start of the internship.
Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or persons granted refugee status in Canada.
Legally allowed to work according to relevant provincial and Canadian legislation and regulations.
Available to work for at least six months (26 weeks).
