Job Summary Responsible for assisting in planning and completing financial, compliance, and operational audits.Job Details
Innovate, recommend, and initiate new ideas to develop the company management process and improve company compliance with all IFRS, Governmental laws, and regulations.- Compiles financial information to prepare journal entries.
- Analyzes financial information to prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual reports.
- Ensures all financial reporting deadlines are met.
- Ensures accurate and efficient monthly, quarterly and year-end close.
- Establishes and monitors the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
- Identifies loopholes and recommends risk aversion measures and cost savings.
- Oversees the financial audit preparation and coordinates the audit process.
- Discusses and agrees on findings/recommendations with the respective process owners or Management.
- Reconciles bank accounts.
Qualifications
Graduate or equivalent in Finance.Experience
Minimum 3 years of prior experience as an Accountant preferably in the Healthcare field. Previous experience of handling accounting functionality across multiple branches/locations/cross border is an added advantage.Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of Bahrain Financial Regulatory requirements.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Tally.
- Knowledge of computer applications and operations (including Microsoft Excel).
- Good analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills (both oral and written).
