This hospital provides specialist care in Anaesthesia & ICU, Cardiopulmonary Services, Oral & Dental Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Medical Imaging, Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Surgery, and the Home Health Care Program.It is also home to a state-of-the-art Oncology Centre opened in 2001 with Medical Oncology and Paediatric Oncology as the focus. Subsequent developments have expanded services to include Bone Marrow Transplantation, Brachytherapy and Outreach Programs.Qualifications RequiredIf you wish to apply for this position, you will require the following to qualify as a consultant with this institution, and as per the licensing authorities:3 years Consultant experience in a Western hospital3 years post specialist qualification experience from the following countries:UK - CCTUSA - American BoardCanada - Canadian FellowshipIreland - CSD/CSCSTAustralia & New Zealand (Fellowship)France - DES/DESCOther European countries according to the qualification equivalence tables of the SCFHS.Benefits IncludedSalary: To be advisedBonus: ½ Months' salary - End of contractContract duration: 1- or 2-years renewableContract status: Family - Spouse and 3 childrenAccommodation: Free of charge - fully furnishedFlights: Provided for self and familyBaggage allowance: 200 SAR per personVacation: 51 days total - including local holidaysStudy leave: 7 paid days CME leave with travel allowanceEducation allowance: Provided for up to 3 childrenMedical cover: Provided for self and familyWorking hours: 42.5 hours/5-day weekOn call: As required within specialtyStart date: By agreementFree on-site housing and utilities - swimming pools, gym, shops, restaurants, children's play areas.
