Manager Microbiology is to provide management, leadership and direction for Food Microbiology andAquaculture Microbiology sections of the central analytical services department in order to meet themicrobiological analytical requirements for internal and external customers.The Microbiology section provides critical services, systems and processes which ensure ongoing corporatequality and food safety. It is an integral requirement of the role that the Manager Microbiology hasa substantial understanding of the operability of the sections, including the operation of technicalequipment related to:Aquaculture MicrobiologyFood MicrobiologyIn addition to his responsibilities for the operation of the section, he will take on the role of the leadinginternal advisor for all relevant aspects relating to Microbiology techniques, equipment and protocols.
