Head of Internal Control

Our reputable company in Bahrain is seeking a Head of Internal Control to oversee the risk management process and ensure the company's financial reporting process is accurate and compliant with laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review and recommend improvements to internal processes, systems, and policies to minimize risk to the business.
2. Assist directors in presenting to the board of directors and audit committee on the financial reporting process, internal control environment, ethics, performance standards, and compliance with laws and regulations.
3. Raise awareness of risk, internal control, and corporate governance within the organization and provide counsel to management to enhance performance and ensure continuous improvement in process management.

Qualifications:

1. BSc in Finance, Quality Management, or a related major.
2. 10-12 years of relevant experience in audit, preferably in a multinational company.
3. ISO Certification or knowledge.
