Roles and ResponsibilitiesAn opportunity has arisen for a Fitness Professional to join our Talise Fitness team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:Design and implement personalized fitness programs tailored to the needs and goals, including workout routines, fitness assessments, and progress tracking.Conduct and lead group fitness classes, such as aerobics, yoga, Pilates, or strength training, ensuring that sessions are engaging, effective, and suitable for various fitness levels.Provide one-on-one personal training sessions, offering expert guidance, motivation, and support to help achieve fitness goals and improve overall well-being.Ensure the fitness equipment is in good working condition, properly maintained, and cleaned regularly. Report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate maintenance team.Enforce safety protocols and guidelines for the use of fitness equipment and facilities, ensuring correct usage and that guests are aware of safety procedures to prevent injuries.Offer excellent service by engaging with clients, addressing fitness needs, answering questions, and providing advice on health and wellness topics.Maintain a clean and organized fitness area, ensuring that all equipment is properly stored, and the environment is welcoming and hygienic.About You:The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:2-5 years of experience working as a fitness professional, personal trainer, or in a related role within a gym, health club, or hotel environment.Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Science, or a related field.Leadership and team management skills.We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams (AED), the local currency of the UAE. This includes consuming a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats.Mental Well-Being: Recognizing the importance of mental health in fitness, including stress management, mindfulness practices, and the psychological benefits of regular exercise.Lifestyle Choices: Making informed choices about sleep, hydration, and daily habits that contribute to overall fitness and health.Goal Setting: Establishing realistic and achievable fitness goals, whether they are related to weight loss, muscle gain, endurance, or overall health improvement.
