Who is Stream Head Channel Development?

Stream Head Channel Development leads the team in planning and executing the development of sales channels in line with the organizational vision of D01440 and the futurist approach of Jazz Business. The candidate performs a continuous and periodic assessment of channel needs and correlates channel development plans with the actual performance of different channels against their assigned targets, and accordingly prepares and presents plans to provide visibility and take relevant actions to improve the performance of underperforming sales channels on a monthly basis.

What does Stream Head Channel Development do?

Develop strategies to establish and expand the presence of the sales channel by devising effective channel development strategies (especially for digital products).

Collaborate with marketing, HR, product teams, and support functions to align channel development efforts with overall business objectives.

Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential channels for content distribution and user engagement.

Empower the sales force through targeted upskilling sessions.

Resolve channel-related issues through effective engagement and coordination with marketing, HR, and other support functions.

Lead sales playbook development for policies, definitions, and best practices across Jazz Business.

Analyze trends and numbers (in collaboration with the Business Analytics & Insights Team) of customer acquisition, churn, win-back, and develop plans to support sales channels to grow the entire base and enhance customer stickiness.

Understand individual, regional, and sub-channel performance and behaviors.

Identify "use-cases" from amongst channels, regions, and product holdings that help other regions uncover growth opportunities.

Periodically analyze the product holdings per channel, build strategies with stakeholders and channels to improve the longevity of customers through the acquisition of a multi-product portfolio and conversion of single to multiple holdings.

Acquire/develop critical tools that help in creating an equilibrium across channels and prepare them for futuristic products and ambitions of Jazz Business.

Unveil opportunities across markets and become an extended arm of growth for sales channels.

Requirements

Bachelor's (MBA preferred) with a minimum of 10-12 years of corporate sales (product design, B2B/B2C channel development, and analytics) experience, preferably in the Telecom Industry.

Strong knowledge of Channel Development.

Detailed knowledge of Products and solutions.

Thorough knowledge of Corporate Solutions, including futuristic products.

Good understanding of Product Commissions.

Sound knowledge of B2B Telecom product behavior.

In-depth knowledge of Sales SOP (Corporate Division).

Strong financial & business acumen.
