Role
Looking to add an Executive Finance to our team. The ideal candidate should have 4 years of relevant experience and good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance of proper books of accounts.
Recording, preparation, and verification of payments.
Management of payable functions including employee reimbursements.
Ensure appropriate deduction of WHT/VAT as applicable on payments.
Assist in preparation of financial statements as per IFRS and local laws including finalizing disclosures.
Assist in monthly closing activities.
Liaising with other departments on a range of issues, especially admin & procurement department.
Execution of core financial processes including vendor set up and payments, operational expenses, administration of bank accounts, and account reconciliation.
Helping in SAGE INTACCT deployment, especially AP and FA module.
Maintenance of daily bank position and preparation of bank reconciliation.
Assist in treasury matters and correspondence with bank.
Requirements:
Minimum MBA/ACCA/ICMA/CA-Part Qualified.
3-4 years of relevant experience.
Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Excellent communication & social skills.
