Principal Microarchitect -Director Level position ( Hyderabad )

Stealth-Mode Start-up based out of California Principal Microarchitect ( Director Level position ) Reporting to CEO Location: Hyderabad Job highlights Seeking experienced Microarchitect/Principal Engineer. Responsible for leading and owning RTL development of one or more modules of a distributed processor core with hands-on working knowledge. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the design including Performance, Power, and Area. Qualifications • Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field • Solid understanding of computer architecture principles and microarchitecture design techniques • Strong expertise in CPU microarchitecture design, performance analysis, optimization and power management. • Proficient in using simulation, modeling waveform debugging tools for performance evaluation and analysis. • Experience with RTL design, verification methodologies, and hardware description languages (e.g., Verilog, VHDL) • Familiarity with software development and optimization techniques for CPUs • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment. • Strong communication and presentation skills Responsibilities • Develop microarchitecture and RTL design for the next generation distributed processor. • Exercise logic design skills to optimize and meet performance, timing and power targets. • Work with the Functional Verification team to ensure production of quality designs, and the physical design team to meet frequency, power, and area goals. • Deliver a synthesis/timing clean design while working with the physical design team ensuring a routable and physically implementable design. • Strong ability to work in a startup environment. • Mentor/guide the work of junior engineers.
