In the capacity of Manager International Tax, you will be responsible for driving and supporting various tax-related topics including international Corporate Income Tax accounting and reporting, transfer pricing and BAPA, Tax governance and planning, and providing guidance to local operating business tax and finance managers.Tax Governance, Risk Management & CompliancePolicy DevelopmentSet up and governance of FrieslandCampina's relevant tax models in the various countries in which it operates, managing and working with the business in the development of relevant corporate tax structures and tax audit defense strategies, to ensure that the tax position of FrieslandCampina is continuously in compliance with current legislations and to mitigate tax risks accordingly.Policy ExecutionManage the tax positions of FrieslandCampina's various legal entities in compliance with legislation and corporate guidelines (Tax Strategy and Tax Policies).Manage the preparation, maintenance, and implementation of the relevant tax structures in line with local/global tax and transfer pricing regulations to optimize the impact on bottom-line cost price and revenues.Tax ComplianceEnsure timely review and approval of the relevant tax returns and related tax reports for the legal entities.Tax PlanningProjects / Ad-Hoc queriesSubject matter expert lead in projects to provide tax perspective to ensure holistic assessments of options including but not limited to M&A, new business ventures, etc.Support the International Tax Director in collating and reviewing internal and external information requests necessary to support the tax strategy of the FrieslandCampina Group.Stay updated on relevant tax developments.Evaluate tax strategies to ensure the impact on after EBIT profit.Transfer pricingWork closely with Transfer Pricing in the Netherlands to ensure compliance with local Transfer Pricing requirements and compliance with the group Transfer Pricing policy.Draft transfer pricing reports/coordinate drafting of transfer pricing reports including economic and financial analysis to support the pricing policies of the group.Ensure transfer pricing obligations (e.g. documentation) are fulfilled under local transfer pricing laws and regulations.Carry out and implement transfer pricing policies in line with the Tax Policy of the company.Able to manage discussions internally and externally with respect to Transfer Pricing models and relevant rulings.Tax auditsManage tax audits in various countries including leading the local tax/finance teams in securing the appropriate tax position for the legal entities.Engage in discussions and negotiations with external stakeholders including but not limited to tax authorities and tax advisors.Tax incentivesAble to manage the relevant negotiations and conclusions of any relevant incentives/subsidies.Lead the execution to ensure maximization of the incentives/subsidies.Manage related tax audits in execution of incentives/subsidies.Work closely with local tax/finance teams including tax advisors to ensure the implementation of the incentives/subsidies is managed accordingly.Tax accountingProvide guidance to local tax/finance teams in the completion of the tax quarterly reports.Review and approve quarterly tax accounting reports for respective entities to ensure relevant tax positions.Analyze tax accounting impact and interpret the necessary information to relevant stakeholders including local management teams.Work closely with the tax accounting team in the Netherlands on consolidation of tax reporting matters.
