Barista

As a Barista, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and crafting high-quality coffee beverages. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of espresso drinks, teas, and snacks while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Beverage Preparation: - Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established standards and recipes. - Operate espresso machines and other equipment proficiently.
2. Customer Service: - Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. - Provide recommendations and answer questions about menu items.
3. Quality Control: - Ensure all beverages are made to the highest quality standards. - Regularly taste and monitor the quality of coffee and other products.
4. Cash Handling: - Process customer transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. - Manage cash register and handle payments efficiently.
5. Cleanliness and Maintenance: - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, equipment, and dining areas. - Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food and beverage safety.
6. Team Collaboration: - Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations. - Assist in training new staff on beverage preparation techniques and customer service skills.
7. Inventory Management: - Assist in monitoring inventory levels of coffee, beverages, and supplies. - Notify management when stock needs to be replenished.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role preferred. - Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:
