What You'll Be Doing:
Conduct both remote and onsite assurance and audit activities within our supply chain. This involves visiting suppliers on site both within the UK and Internationally ensuring that they adhere to any contractual, legislative or regulatory requirements whilst mitigating any risk to DLG.

Ensure that the external scope is tested and a full audit trail is available to explain any decision not to test a scope item.
Conduct due diligence assessments on suppliers, to provide visibility of potential risks before the onboarding of the supplier.
Ensure the consistency of risk classifications and reporting and identify any patterns or trends. Identify and refer serious single or trend issues to Supplier Assurance Manager.
Manage both internal and external stakeholders to ensure completion of assessment actions, ensuring that appropriate evidence is saved to support closure/resolution and a full audit trail is in place in all instances to support decisions.
Manage relationships with all partners to develop scopes, deliver the assessment schedule, and oversee issue closure.
Support the wider requirements by responding to and providing a professional service to ad hoc assessment requests, above BAU work where this is deemed appropriate.
