The ADAPT Centre is seeking to appoint a Head of Technical Operations to lead and define its research and production infrastructure, and technology operations and strategy. This position is mainly based in TCD with travel to ADAPTs partner/host universities and involves the management of users across its eight Higher Education Institutions (Trinity College Dublin, Dublin City University, University College Dublin, Technological University Dublin, Maynooth University, Munster Technological University, Technological University of the Shannon, and the University of Galway). The Head of Technical Operations will be responsible for coordinating, organising, and managing the IT infrastructure across the ADAPT Centre and its host locations with over 300 active users and spanning a multitude of research fields with 85+ academics (Principal Investigators and Funded Investigators). This appointment is not offered on indefinite duration basis because the project is expected to be complete in a finite period. Termination of this contract before the expire of the specific purpose may also occur in the event of the funding stream being terminated or withdrawn by the funding agency. Hours of Post: 35 hours per week Salary: Appointment will be made on the Administrative Officer 1 (1-6) (€68181- €107,959 per annum) and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
