Job Description Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, Aligned with AFC BAND 5 £29,970 to £36,483 pro rata per annum, plus enhancements, depending on experience Hours/Contract: Permanent Full Time and Part time available Based: Home and community opportunities across West Devon Closing date: 30th September 2024 Interview date: TBC The Marie Curie Nurse role has two key functions; the first is providing specialist overnight care and support to those living with terminal illnesses, whilst offering vital emotional support for the people important to them. You are sure to enjoy plenty of meaningful contact with the people we care for and the wider Multidisciplinary Team. It's all about creating the opportunity for the best possible quality of life and death with a responsive and proactive approach to the individuals' medical, social, spiritual and emotional needs. This role is 50% delivering specialist care and support to patients with terminal illnesses overnight and 50% Clinical Coordination. We are looking for a motivated, experienced and enthusiastic nurse with excellent communication and assessment skills to join us at a time of exciting change and development of the service. - 30% x your basic salary per hour paid for Saturdays and night duty
- 60% x your basic salary per hour paid for Sundays and Bank Holidays
- Mileage allowance of 45p per mile
- Paid for whole training and traveling in between patient
- Be a UK licenced driver with access to a car and business insurance is essential
- RN Registration Level 1
- Experience in NHS or another relevant care setting in palliative care
- Ability to work in a complex and stressful environment and demonstrate appropriate coping mechanisms
- Flexibility to work across settings to support projects
