Consultant Family Medicine And PHC Mind's Eye Consultancy, Saudi Arabia Spend at least 70% time on direct patient care.Participate in on-call schedule.Be available for consultants, Assistant Consultants, and Staff Physicians' delivery of care, i.e. clinical judgments, patient management, record keeping, etc.Education, both formal and informal.Day-to-day management of clinics and clinic programs.Expand areas of care, i.e. antenatal care, management of chronic illness, management of acute illness (nebulizers for asthma, etc.), and community participation.Ensure equipment is satisfactory for clinical needs.Investigate and act on complaints.Attend and contribute to department meetings.Represent the department on hospital committees.Participate in department administrative and schedule activities as required.Liaise with hospital to express needs of primary care and play role in fulfilling needs.Participate in hospital rounds (Grand Rounds, Diagnostic and Therapeutic Tools).National Guard activities: assist in organization and participate in National Guard educational activities.Assist in the development and supervision of the program.Resident teaching: prepare residents to write Arab and Saudi Board examinations; prepare and conduct seminars; clinical supervision.Audit and upgrade delivery of care at clinics.Develop and monitor clinical practice guidelines.Clinical research and primary care: disease registry, clinical trials, morbidity data collection.Attend conferences and disseminate information.Attend lectures and rounds.Independent learning.Maintain accreditation. Job Specification Graduated from a medical school, successful completion of structured accredited Resident Training. Certification by the appropriate Specialty Board approved by the Saudi Council of Health Specialties.4 years experience.Fluent in English Communication, Arabic Language is an added advantage.Computer Skills are at an expert level.
