Town Hall160 Whitechapel RoadLONDONE1 1BJThe purpose of the role is to manage and organise the work of a Benefits Assessment Team ensuring the Team provides a high quality, effective service at all times dealing with the administration of Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit and Education Welfare Benefits.The Council is looking to fill this position permanently with the successful candidate needing to demonstrate a sound and detailed assessment knowledge of Housing Benefit, the Local Council Tax Reduction Scheme and associated legislation, Educational Welfare Benefits and associated Council policies and procedures.
