Facilities Supervisor

Job Description

• Supervise and support facilities staff and contractors to ensure effective operation and maintenance of the facility.
• Assist in overseeing the maintenance and repair of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting routine checks and addressing issues promptly.
• Support the management of the facilities budget, including assisting with procurement, expense tracking, and forecasting.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and ensure longevity.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to maintain optimal conditions and recommend areas for improvement.
• Assist in handling emergency situations and providing quick resolutions to facility-related issues.
• Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure service quality and adherence to agreements.
• Prepare and maintain detailed records and reports related to facility operations, maintenance, and compliance activities.
• Monitor and manage monthly utility invoices and payments, including electricity, water, and gas, to ensure accuracy and timely processing.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in facilities management or a related specialist role.
• Demonstrated experience in overseeing maintenance activities and coordinating projects.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, safety standards, and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond effectively under pressure.
