Job Description
Facilities Supervisor Job Description:- Supervise and support facilities staff and contractors to ensure effective operation and maintenance of the facility.
- Assist in overseeing the maintenance and repair of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting routine checks and addressing issues promptly.
- Support the management of the facilities budget, including assisting with procurement, expense tracking, and forecasting.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and ensure longevity.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to maintain optimal conditions and recommend areas for improvement.
- Assist in handling emergency situations and providing quick resolutions to facility-related issues.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure service quality and adherence to agreements.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records and reports related to facility operations, maintenance, and compliance activities.
- Monitor and manage monthly utility invoices and payments, including electricity, water, and gas, to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
Job Requirements
Facilities Supervisor Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in facilities management or a related specialist role.
- Demonstrated experience in overseeing maintenance activities and coordinating projects.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, safety standards, and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond effectively under pressure.
