The Opportunity: Working at EY as a Senior Consultant – Technology Assurance , you will acquire the experience and skill set necessary to become a leader of the future whilst delivering high quality and efficient audits and projects. We offer you the opportunity to get acquainted with a large variety of clients, most of them well established brands with an international reach. EY has invested heavily in data analysis tools that support the auditors in their day-to-day life. This reduces the level of manual testing and allows us to carry out audits much more efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

  • Work effectively as a team member, drawing on your knowledge and experience to solve complex issues and support the local Partner(s) while building relationships with local internal clients and peers.
  • Participate in MENA engagements including Pakistan, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress.
  • Assist in client service delivery, participate in all assigned tasks, and prepare reports for clients and other parties.
  • Provide excellent customer service and help our teams do the same, advising clients on IT Risk related matters and assisting executives with business development activities across various sectors.

Dealing with competing priorities, understanding how to manage resources, and communicating effectively are key skills that will have a huge impact on those around you and help promote a positive work ethic. To qualify for the role, you must have:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related discipline, or a degree in business, accounting, finance, with additional IT qualifications.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience as an IT Risk specialist or IT auditor for a public accounting firm, professional services firm, technology company, telecom company, or financial services company.
  • Relevant experience in IT General Controls Reviews, IT Application Controls Reviews, Interface Testing, Data Migration Reviews, IT Risk assessment, Mobile Technology assessments, Emerging Technologies (Robotics, IoT, Cloud and Blockchain), ERP control validations (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics), systems and networking technologies, IT/Business process and internal control assessments, internal audit engagements, external audit integration, application of data analytics, and/or third party reporting.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with out-of-the-box thinking abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ideally, you’ll also have:
  • CISA, CISSP, CISM, and/or CIA certification is essential for long-term growth in the role; other relevant certifications may also be acceptable.
  • Experience working in a similar role with an international audit firm (preferably Big4).
  • Operational focus in working and institutionalizing best practices and processes.
