The ideal candidate should have experience in a fast-paced news room, a keen eye for a traffic-driving news story, and be well-versed in SEO and social best practices.Responsibilities:Primarily responsible for content generation, content performance and audience growth across digital and social.Work closely with the CCO to go through digital analytics and to refine content strategy and increase user engagement.Write for an online audience and manage the brand's social media accounts.Represent the brand at relevant events.Identify and create fresh, engaging and original video content and audio content.Support commercial projects.Undertake necessary image production activities.Update and maintain time-sensitive material.Expected to contribute towards the main magazine and supplements as wellFrequently visit Saudi Arabia to assist in the growth of What's On Saudi Arabia.Qualifications:Graduate in Journalism or related course.Background in lifestyle or entertainment journalism.Minimum of 5 years and above relevant professional work experience.Skills:Proven track record in growing digital content.Must have an eye for a good story and a solid understanding of how to optimise content for SEO.Well-versed in social media best practices and content production.Must meet deadlines and have strong time management skills.Excellent communicator with strong attention to detail.A confident multi-tasker and self-starterMotivate Media Group is the region's leading multi-platform content producer with a diverse portfolio of media interests comprising magazines, digital, social, video, exhibitions & events, cinema, OOH and books.Interested candidates may apply attaching a copy of their CV and include examples of their work.
