Our real-time advertising bidding system handles over 3,000,000 requests per second and stores several terabytes of data every day. Our technologies include Go, Ruby on Rails, Aerospike, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, RocksDB, Redshift, ScyllaDB, GraphQL, and others. We're not afraid to test and try new technologies.StackAdapt is a Remote First company, we are open to candidates located anywhere in North America for this position.What you'll be doing:Leading a team of engineers focused on building integrations with first-party and third-party data sourcesContributing to the building of StackAdapt CDP (Customer Data Platform)Architecting and reviewing scalable low-latency backend systems and data pipelinesLeading and mentoring a growing team of talented engineers within the backend teamMaking a positive impact on the team's productivity and growthPromoting software development best practices and conducting rigorous code reviewsIdentifying and solving technical challengesManaging software development processes and owning the technical roadmapConducting interviews to attract and identify potential high-performing candidatesBalancing and prioritizing projects to maximize efficiency and ensure company objectives are achievedWe'll be reaching out to applicants that have:Adtech or Martech experience is an asset2+ years managing five or more direct reports5+ years of experience in software development in distributed systems, architecting scalable microservices, and data pipelines. Experience in these areas for a successful high-growth technology company is a plusExperience with Go (GoLang) Programming Language is needed in this roleProven track record of delivering results and leading growing, high-impact teamsExperience as a player-coach, leading technology as well as people management.
