Engineering Manager (Native Apps)
تفاصيل الوظيفة
Vio.com believes travel is the one thing that opens minds to new ideas, cultures, and ways of thinking. Our mission is to GET EVERY TRAVELLER THE BEST ACCOMMODATION DEAL, WORLDWIDE. From adventure travel and backpacking to honeymoons and family vacations, we genuinely care so that every traveller can make the best-informed accommodation choice at the absolute best conditions for every trip. Our engineering culture values pragmatism, honesty, and simplicity to solve hard problems the right way.
We are looking for an Engineering Manager (EM) to lead Vio.com 's mission-critical Mobile Application team. We are looking to transform our relatively young but very successful mobile application from largely WebView based solution to a high performing and smooth native implementation, and evolve the product from there.
As an EM, you'll lead a dynamic team of 6 Mobile (React Native) engineers. The full team also consists of 1 mobile UX designer, 1 data/product analyst and a UX researcher, and together they are embarking on a challenging quest to fulfil ambitious goals that directly contribute to the company objectives. Your role will position you as a valued ally to the Product Manager, Technical Lead, and fellow EMs alike.
We work closely with the end customers, hence anything that the team will develop and ship on the app stores will have an almost immediate effect on our users and on our business performance. We work in a flexible, results-oriented, data-driven and customer-centric team structure, collaboratively focusing on shipping value, with hopefully just the right amount of bureaucracy.
We encourage people from all ethnic groups, genders, sexualities, ages, and abilities to apply. If this job description resonates with you, we want to hear from you!
