An excellent career opportunity has arisen within the Compliance Team for an Upstream Compliance Specialist. You will be required to manage the identification, tracking and assessment of the impact of new and amended regulations. You will also help to oversee the implementation of new and amended regulations and assist with the preparation of reports for Senior Management. Responsibilities: Identifying and analysing new regulation, tracking ownership and implementation within the business. Co-ordinate and manage the weekly review of new regulations within the Team, including identification of new items in scope for the bank, and identification of appropriate owners, utilising the GRC system. Undertaking gap analysis of legislation. Assist with preparation of reports for Senior Management and Committees including the Quarterly Upstream Report and the Head of Compliance Report. Maintenance of the Regulation database within the GRC System. Essential Requirements: At least 3 years? experience in a Compliance role or other relevant function/department. A good understanding of Financial Services regulations and how to apply it in a business environment. Strong commercial awareness with a good understanding of regulatory risks across the banking industry. Relevant professional qualification, e.g., Compliance Institute or legal, or working towards same. Highly motivated with a demonstrated ability to work under pressure and to strict timelines while managing conflicting priorities. This is a Permanent position based in St. Stephens Green, Dublin.
