Workshop Service & Warranty Manager (East Galway) Key 2 Recruitmenthas been retained to recruit a Workshop Service Manager for an expanding successful company based in East Galway. Nature of position: To oversee the service department. Typical Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain repair and service records on company vehicles. Properly delegate work to correct technician with skill set required to complete the job. Discuss job performance with employees to identify causes and issues and to work on resolving problems. Effectively manage employee hours, workshop expenses and inventory. Direct and communicate the customer's needs to the service department for diagnosis. Verify with service department that the appropriate services have been completed. Learn and maintain product knowledge on all parts, service and other products that are represented by the company, as well as, those of competitors. Accurately answer questions both over the phone and at the store location. Establish a trusting relationship based on integrity and fairness with customers and demonstrates a sincere concern for them. Build a loyal customer base. Prepare accurate estimates and billing for customers and company work. Invoice customers using proper procedures for cash, charge, credit, employee, fleet accounts.
