Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Our client, a global leader in temperature-controlled logistics, exclusively serving the life sciences industry, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to join the team in the Shannon Co. Clare site, to lead their commercial strategy and drive business growth. With strategically located facilities in the US and Shannon, Ireland, our clients provide unmatched supply chain solutions that help companies transport sensitive biopharmaceutical products with greater speed, security, and sustainability. The Role: As CCO, you will be responsible for securing business opportunities personally while also building and managing a high-performing business development team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the life sciences sector, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of temperature-controlled logistics. Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the life sciences sector.
- Personally lead efforts to secure new business opportunities and establish strategic partnerships.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a business development team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on customer needs and service delivery.
- Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and potential risks.
- Create and manage budgets for business development initiatives and monitor KPIs to track performance.
- Represent the organization at industry events and conferences to enhance visibility and establish connections.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to drive long-term business success.
- 10+ years of experience in commercial roles within the life sciences or logistics industries, with a proven track record of securing business and achieving targets.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing successful teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for the life sciences sector.
