Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Consultant

We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Pre-Sales Consultant to join our team and support our cybersecurity services and technology solutions. As a Pre-Sales Consultant, you will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive revenue growth by providing technical expertise, conducting product demonstrations, and assisting in the development of proposals and solutions for clients. In this role, you will leverage your strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and technologies, along with relevant certifications, to deliver compelling presentations and showcase the value of our offerings to prospective customers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer requirements and develop tailored solutions based on our cybersecurity services and technology offerings.
- Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops for potential clients, showcasing the features, capabilities, and benefits of our solutions.
- Understand and articulate customer needs, pain points, and business requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
- Create and deliver compelling proposals, including technical responses, cost estimates, and implementation plans, in collaboration with the sales team.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our cybersecurity services and technology portfolio, staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Commercial and Service Delivery, to provide feedback on customer requirements and contribute to the enhancement of our solutions.
- Stay informed about competitive offerings, market trends, and industry best practices to effectively position our products and services.
- Assist in the preparation of RFPs (Request for Proposal) and RFIs (Request for Information), ensuring accurate and comprehensive responses.
- Engage in proof-of-concept (POC) activities, working closely with clients to demonstrate the effectiveness and value of our solutions.
- Obtain and maintain relevant industry certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or similar credentials, to enhance professional expertise.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a Pre-Sales role, specifically within the cybersecurity services and technology domain.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in developing and delivering proposals, RFPs, RFIs, and conducting proof-of-concept activities.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and understand their unique requirements.
- Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity frameworks and regulations (e.g., NESA, ISO 27001) is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to address customer needs and challenges.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
