About the opportunity:
As a key member of the People & Culture (P&C) team, you are the conduit between the organisation's leadership and core team regarding BaptistCare's Human Resources (HR) & Employment Law matters.
Working closely with the HR & Employment Relations Lead and Senior HR Partner, you will develop best practice solutions, strategies, and programs to deliver BaptistCare's strategic and operational workforce objectives. You will scan the external environment and actively develop and engage your diverse professional network to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities to evolve our HR practices.

About you:
To be considered, you will have:
Minimum 2 years' experience in HR/IR practice in a highly dispersed, unionised workforce.
Oversee and coordinate case management activities and support the resolution of employment relation and industrial relation matters effectively and in line with legislation and regulatory requirements.
Ability to partner with business leaders within your portfolio to support the timely identification and management of workplace relations matters.
Current Australian driver's licence and commitment to occasional travel.
Practical understanding of culture, performance, and leadership.
Proven problem-solver and sponsor of innovative and continuous improvement.
Demonstrable experience in providing guidance and support in relation to the management of non-work-related injuries.
Relevant qualification and/or experience in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Organisational Design, or similar desirable.
Further relevant qualifications in mediation, facilitation, mental health first aid, workforce planning, diversity & inclusion, organisational psychology, or data and analytics desirable.
