The National Archives has partnered with Charles Sturt University to host a new Digital Archiving Cadet program that focuses on enhancing and developing digital archive and data skills. In 2024 there are places available for innovative and engaged people seeking to enter the field of digital archiving.

What you will experience as a Digital Archiving Cadet
The Digital Archiving Cadet is a new program where you will be offered:
Full fees paid for a brand-new qualification and the first of its kind in Australia from Charles Sturt University: Graduate Certificate in Digital Archiving - Study (csu.edu.au)
Paid work at the prestigious National Archives of Australia APS4 level part time (0.6 pro rata) for eleven months with the possibility of ongoing employment
Access to peer support and networking opportunities in digital archiving, and;
Attractive leave provisions and other benefits.
