Criminal Defence Solicitor (FTC), 3+ PQE, Greater Manchester, £35,000 - £50,000, 12-months fixed-term contract.OVERVIEW:Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients, conduct case analysis, and collaborate with external professionals such as Barristers, forensic experts, and investigators to build a robust defence.Represent clients in court proceedings, including bail hearings, pre-trial conferences, plea negotiations, and trials.Stay updated on relevant laws through research, ensure adherence to legal ethics and confidentiality, and represent clients in various legal proceedings without direct court hearing attendance.The candidate will have experience in criminal defence, specifically within drink driving, drug driving, fatalities, dangerous driving, and speeding, including others.Within this role, the locum solicitor will deal with privately funded cases.As a locum, the appointed solicitor will have a minimum of 3 years PQE and experience in a client-facing role, with proven ability to manage own caseload for both guilty and not guilty pleas.Candidates with experience in motoring law, including defending motoring offences, are encouraged to apply.This role will be initially office-based but can offer hybrid working after settling in period.HOW TO APPLY:Contact Tatiana Sivakova at eNL on 0121 454 1004 or email tatiana.sivakova@enllegal.co.uk with your CV, or simply call for a confidential discussion.eNL will never share your CV with a third party without your express permission.
