Head of Reporting/ Civil Engineering/ Kildare

Client Profile: Major Civil Engineering Group, KildareOur client is a high profile global civil engineering and construction group with a significant presence in Ireland. They have experienced exceptional growth over the last number of years and have been responsible for delivery of some of Ireland's highest profile projects. They are seeking to recruit an experienced senior finance professional to join their leadership team and take ownership for Reporting and FP&A.Head of ReportingReporting at Director level, the role will involve:Managing preparation of consolidated financial statementsLeading and developing the FP&A functionSupporting the Financial DirectorCo-ordinating annual budget & quarterly forecastsOwnership for all aspects of Internal Controls, Compliance and Balance Sheet reviewsEnsure corporate accounting standards & statutory controls are adhered toIdentify opportunities for continuous development & improvement of financial systemsEnsure compliance with all taxation obligationsPresentations to the senior management teamMotivate and develop the finance teamPrepare business cases to support strategic and investment decisionsAnalyse competitor and market financial information to support decision makingCandidate Requirements:Qualified Accountant with a number of years post qualification experience at a senior level within a large engineering or construction organisationCapable of result delivery to tight deadlinesThe must have excellent technical accounting experience and be comfortable interacting at senior leadership team level.Remuneration PackageThe successful candidate can expect to receive an upper quartile salary, car allowance, bonus and large company benefits, which will reflect the importance of the role to the organisation.
