Profile Senior Process Engineer

Are you an experienced Process Engineer who can lead complex projects and drive successful outcomes? Do you have experience in refinery projects, particularly in the Define phase?

- We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to manage and deliver process engineering services, leading projects and teams to meet client requirements. You will oversee scope changes, and support procurement, construction, and commissioning activities, with a focus on refinery projects in the Define phase.

- Tasks & responsibilities:

Deliver process engineering services that meet client, customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements, on time and within budget.

Initiate, manage, and if required, supervise process engineering project activities.

Participate in relevant project meetings, prepare progress reports, and follow necessary checking and approval procedures.

Ensure the project scope is clearly defined and that changes comply with established change management processes.

Provide assistance and advice during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities (e.g., writing requisitions, conducting technical bid evaluations, preparing purchase orders).

Act as the process engineering lead on specific projects, if required.

When leading a team, outline project requirements, promote work sharing, assign tasks, and supervise progress.

Proactively resolve discrepancies between client and customer requirements.

Stay up to date with the latest developments between client and customer requirements.

Assist and support junior personnel within the process engineering team, if needed.

Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including customers and internal teams.

Identify and resolve project issues, develop solutions, and request assistance when necessary.

Requirements Senior Process Engineer

Experience with renewable hydrotreatment (RHU), hydrotreated vegetable oil pre-treatment (PTU), or wastewater treatment (WWT) projects.

Familiarity with engineering tools such as AVEVA Engineering and SmartPlantPID.

Experience as an area lead engineer.

Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing. Spanish is a bonus!

At least 12 years of experience as a process engineer working with engineering contractor companies.

Experience must include working on Define phase refinery projects.
