Key Responsibilities:Prepares, cooks, and serves food to the client in accordance with the contractual menu, food preparation procedures, and standards.Ensures that the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness are practiced within the section.Ensures that all food produced/served is of the quality and quantity specified, and that it is ready for service at the times required.Ensures that standardized recipes/procedures are adhered to in the production/service of all foodstuffs.Ensures that all stored food is wrapped correctly, labeled, and date stamped.Prepares, cooks, and serves all food items as required.Serves at the dining or the assigned place and replenishes dishes as required.Ensures that the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained at all times.Works within the hygiene standards laid down.Operates all equipment in a correct and safe manner and reports any defects and/or possible safety hazards identified.Works various shifts as required in any department of the kitchen.Undertakes any other duties not identified in this description as requested by the Head Cook, the supervisor, or the manager.
