We are looking for an eMobility Application Engineer to help us accelerate the growth of eMobility in KSA & GULF market. Location base is our office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will report to the head of global eMobility Application Center and collaborate strongly with the eMobility Middle East Africa zone leader and local front offices. The eMobility Application Engineer is recognized to be a specialist on complex technical and business matters linked to eMobility charging infrastructure. He/She should be customer focused and has developed the acumen to manage and cultivate customer relations. MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
- Develop and structure a client tailored eMobility or co-developed solutions in coordination with the sales and execution teams.
- Perform site audits to understand the viability of customer sites to host an eMobility charging infrastructure.
- Create all required project documentation in terms of energy requirements for charging infrastructure, design calculations, drawings, layouts, specifications, block schematics, solution presentation, solution value proposition, compliance table, software programming procedures.
- Solution design should ensure the successful project implementation, execution, margin delivery achievement, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide engineering support to the team during installation in terms of process, tools required, procedures, regulatory compliance, Dos and Don'ts, technical interpretations and support, and ensure quality.
- Convey customer requirements to business leadership ensuring that the eMobility offer remains fresh and aligned with the evolving eMobility market.
- Costing strategy, client-specific Price Summary structure, and Terms and Conditions requirements to provide the eMobility charging infrastructure tender document.
- Ensure that we continue to grow above market levels in the eMobility application delivering both value to customers and profitability to Schneider Electric.
- Provide training to customers and internal people on eMobility applications.
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years in a relevant engineering capacity.
- Experience with designing solutions that include software.
- Strong communication, business management, and consulting engagement skills.
- Team player who can work effectively with customers and colleagues at all levels.
- Independent and self-driven and can work with minimum guidance.
- Requires deep technical expertise in electric power generation, transmission, distribution, control, and automation. Protective relaying, power monitoring, and control application knowledge.
- Knowledge of high, medium, and low voltage switchgear design, including ANSI/NEMA and IEC equipment.
- Understanding of communications networks and protocols including: Ethernet networks, RS485 networks, IEC 61850 networks, Modbus, and OCPP protocols.
- Knowledge of US codes, standards, and best practices for electrical power systems.
- Experienced in Power Distribution systems design and analysis.
