ADAPTOVATE was established in Australia by three ex-BCG Consultants. Globally, we have successfully delivered Agile at Scale transformations for Fortune 100 organizations, individual business units, and start-ups. Our mission is to help organizations transform at scale, meet changing market conditions, and deliver to increasingly sophisticated customer demands. As a Principal Consultant, you will be part of the senior leadership team at ADAPTOVATE and will work closely with the Partners to expand our business, build a strong culture, and develop our consulting practice. You’ll be responsible for supporting the Toronto office’s growth, from business operations to managing client engagements and leading business development.
What does a typical day look like?
- As Senior Leader at ADAPTOVATE: you will play a pivotal role in driving success and creating significant impacts for both our clients and our internal teams.
- People & Team Management: you will actively coach and mentor junior team members, helping them develop their consulting skills, and providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Client Engagement: your engagement with clients will involve framing issues, structuring problems, optimizing client processes, coaching, and managing change. You will maintain proactive and regular communication with clients, nurturing relationships and participating in business development activities, including client pitches and proposal writing.
- Business Development: You will lead business development efforts, building relationships with clients and sponsors, and leveraging your existing network to secure engagements within your first 6-12 months.
- Project Execution: you will oversee project execution from initiation to completion, serving as a trusted advisor, offering strategic guidance, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
What ADAPTOVATE is looking for
- 7+ years of experience in a top-tier consulting firm with a proven leadership record.
- Proficiency in proposal writing, report creation, and client presentation development.
- A consulting mindset characterized by structured thinking and a relentless drive for impact.
- Ability to present to senior management groups for training and reporting purposes.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, including quantitative, conceptual, and analytical capabilities.
- A genuine interest and passion for coaching and mentoring others.
- Curiosity about various industries and a customer-centric approach to deliver business value.
- Industry knowledge or specific capabilities to engage current clients.
