Looking for a Laser Technician/Laser Hair Reduction Technician with necessary experience in the healthcare sector. Interested applicants, please attach your updated CV for the opening.
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE. Below are the basic requirements:
Experienced in the Healthcare Sector
DOH License / DOH Eligibility Holder
Licensed Healthcare Professional by either of the Authorities as a Registered Nurse, Assistant Nurse, or Beauty Therapist and successful completion of an accredited Laser training course for hair reduction with evidence of ten (10) hands-on training cases.

Academic qualification as a Registered Nurse, Assistant Nurse, or Beauty Therapist and successful completion of an accredited Laser training course for hair reduction with evidence of ten (10) hands-on training cases.
-or-
Academic qualification as Registered Nurse, Assistant Nurse, or Beauty Therapist and hair reduction certification from one of the following bodies if attained from outside UAE:
The Society for Clinical and Medical Hair Removal (SCHMR)
National Council on Laser Certification (NCLC)
With evidence of ten (10) hands-on training cases.
Experience:
2 years post qualification in the related field
Laser and Cosmetology experience
Job Specific Responsibilities:
Assist in the use of drapes and other barriers to prevent staff, patients, families, and visitors from inadvertently being exposed to direct or reflected light.
Adhere to personal protective equipment for staff and patients appropriate to the type of lasers and optical radiation devices used and type of procedures performed in the organization (for example, goggles, corneal shields, masks, gloves, and gowns, as applicable).
Keep a record of maintenance program for lasers and optical radiation devices and a process for routine performance checks such as calibration and alignment.
Coordinate with facility management and infection prevention and control programs; report any facility safety events and infection control events.
Detect and report adverse health effects and identify and implement improvements to prevent recurrence.
Greet clients as they come in for their procedure.
Inform clients on how to recover from each procedure and how to care for their skin.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
Document all appointments.
