By upholding our values of respect, excellence, collaboration and integrity; Al-Futtaim Group continues to enrich the lives and aspirations of our customers each and every day.Overview of the roleTo lead Quality activities for the Engineering Division by managing a team of Engineers and inspectors.What you will doPreparation and Amendments of the Company QA ManualControl / Distribution of Company Quality DocumentationCoordination with the Estimation Department for Pre-bid Project Requirements in terms of QualityPreparation, Implementation and Control of Project Quality System Management documentation prior to project commencementManage the QAQC functions of the projectImplement and Monitor the Quality Management System at siteEnsure the Project specified requirements and Quality standards are met and monitoredVerify contractor Quality Requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittalsAssign tasks and manage QAQC TeamAssign objectives for the Quality Personnel and monitor the performanceEnsure training related to quality system is provided to the project team for effective implementationMonitor the progress and effectiveness of Project Quality Management system. Recommend and implement improvements when requiredEnsure Quality review checks are performed for Technical Documents prior to formal submissionsLiaise with the construction execution team and other contractors on a day-to-day basisEnsure the Quality of Installation is in line with Project Quality standards and minimize Non-Conformance / ObservationsEnforce periodic surveillance of ongoing / completed works to ensure compliance to QualityImplement KPI's to monitor / track and control quality of Engineering, Installation, T&C and Project closeoutLiaise with the QS Team and provide comprehensive status report of Inspections as a supporting document required for the Monthly Payment ApplicationGenerate periodic Quality reports for the management.Required Skills to be successfulAnalytical skillsTechnical problem-solving skillsClose coordination with Client / Main Contractor QAQC to implement and ensure project quality standards.Manage and coordinate subcontractors to ensure conformance to project quality standards.Close monitoring and immediate closeout / rectification of any non-conformance observed / recordedWhat equips you for the roleBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. 15 years of QA QC experience on mixed-use developments with at least 5 years as a manager, leading teams on multiple projects.Al-Futtaim Engineering & TechnologiesAl-Futtaim Engineering & Technologies offers customers complete engineering and systems integration solutions.
