As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting the HR strategy and operations by providing efficient, customer-focused service to employees and managers. This role is essential in fostering a positive and productive work environment, requiring a strong understanding of HR best practices, employee relations, and operational excellence. Fluency in English is required to effectively communicate and collaborate in a global environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage key HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle, including HR Operations, Performance Management, and Talent Management, across both local and international locations.
- Provide advisory support to employees and managers on engagement, succession planning, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
- Partner with Business Line and Functional Leadership to execute HR and business initiatives.
- Proactively address employee-related issues, including those involving management and, where applicable, union-related concerns.
- Handle employee grievances, conduct investigations into workplace concerns such as harassment and discrimination, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Recommend and implement process improvements, leveraging new technologies and identifying opportunities for automation and shared services to boost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations; participate in union negotiations and collective bargaining (if applicable).
- Continuously monitor KPIs, SLAs, and business goals to drive operational excellence and promote a culture of safety.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees on HR policies, procedures, and programs, escalating issues when necessary.
- Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Educate employees on available benefits and assist with enrollment and claims issues.
- Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations, and stay updated on employment law changes to recommend necessary policy updates.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies across the organization.
- 10+ years of HR experience, with a focus on employee relations and HR operations in a global, matrixed environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or country-specific certification preferred.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Experience with Workday HRIS systems.
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
