About this position:We are eagerly seeking candidates with 6 to 10 years' experience for a Backend NodeJS Developer, to join our dynamic team in this role as Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the platform infrastructure that powers the platform. You will work very closely with our Frontend Engineers, DevOps Engineers and other stakeholders to design and build our platform.Role: Backend NodeJS DeveloperLocation: Pune/Mumbai, /Bangalore/Gurgaon/Chennai &HyderabadExperience: 6 to 10 yearsJob type: Full timeWork type: HybridImpact you will realize: Job ResponsibilitiesEvaluate product requirements for operational feasibility and create detailed specifications & tech designs based on user stories.Look to continuously improve teams' quality in code, testing, operations, toolset, and processesPlay a key role in all parts of SDLC and is an active evangelist for team cultureFocus on the Why and Root Causes rather than symptoms and drive technology solutions both internally to the team as well as within the wider orgContribute to design/code reviews for quality assurance.Hands-on participation in development and bug fixing.Monitor and report technical execution progress as well as all technical issues, risk or mitigation plan in a timely manner.Taking up critical POCs and feasibility studies.Drive technical innovations in the product constantly to remain ahead of the curve.Key skills you will require: Primary SkillsHave a pragmatic approach to problem solving and solution architecture and a keen eye for simplicityHave attention to detail when developing solutionsHave the ability to break down and communicate complex problems in simple termsHave worked in medium to large teams for over 6+ years commercial experience as a software engineer/developerHave experience with Typescript, Node.js and modern JavaScriptHave designed and implemented REST APIs and understand GraphQL very wellHave experience with serverless technologies, microservice architecturesHave experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)Have extensive experience with various levels of testing e.g. unit, integration, end-to-endBe comfortable operating in an environment of high-speed deployments and delivery without any detriment to qualitySecondary Skills: Experience designing, developing, and running production-grade systems at medium scale and above (50k+ users)Knowledge and experience of working with temporal, Golang and KubernetesExperience with AWS / Good understanding of AWS services - EC2, S3, Route 53, DynamoDB, Cloud Front, Lambda, SNS, SQS, API gateway, ELB, EBSExperience in the finance/payment's domainQualification you must require: Bachelors or master's with Computer Science or related fieldWhy should you join Xoriant?
